Terms that turn up in these entries, each with the game where you will meet it.

Dress-up
A game about choosing clothes, hair and accessories for a character, as in Lafufu Blind Box Dress Up.
Blind box
A sealed box whose contents you only see once it is opened; in Lafufu it holds a monster figure.
Management sim
A game about running a business day to day, like the pizzeria in Cat Pizza.
Upgrade loop
Earning money or coins and spending them on improvements, as with tables in Cat Pizza or upgrades in Hill Climb Racing Lite.
Physics-based driving
Driving where weight, speed and slope decide how the vehicle behaves, as in Hill Climb Racing Lite.
Flip
When a vehicle lands on its roof and the run ends; the most common way a Hill Climb Racing Lite attempt finishes.
Waves
Groups of enemies that arrive one after another, each harder than the last, as the wolves do in Iron Snout.
Pixel colouring
Filling a picture in square by square, the method behind Color Artist.
Helper tools
In-game aids that simplify a task; Color Artist offers them for busy pictures.
On-screen joystick
A touch control drawn on the screen that stands in for movement keys, used by Cat Pizza on phones and tablets.
